Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 (産業上の利用分野) 本考案は表皮、発泡体製ワディング、ワディングカバー
の王者を積層して一体に溶着する自動単用座席の表層材
として使用するトリムカバー成形方法に関するものであ
る。
(従来の技術とその問題点) 前記表皮、発泡体製(ウレタン7オームのスラブ材)ワ
ディング、ワディングカバーの三者を一体にする方法と
して、従来ミシンによる縫着、高周波ウェルグーによる
溶着手段が使用されている。高周波ウェルグーによる方
法は縫着によるものに比べ作業性が良いため広〈実施゛
されているが、普通ウレタンなど高周波溶着性のない発
泡体は直接溶着できない不具合がある(発熱促進用に絶
縁紙を使用しなければならない。)。
そこで本願出願人は、斯る高周波ウェルグーによる不具
合を除去するものとして特開昭59−230718号公
報において、超音波ウェルグーを使用して成形する方法
を開示した。
斯る方法は、超音波によって前記三者の積層体を一体に
溶着する方法であり、この溶着はあらかじめ所定の形状
に切断処理した積層体を使用するために、その切断処理
に工数を要する不具合があった。
なお、高周波ウェルグーによるものは、高周波で王者を
一体に溶着した後、再度刃型状の電極を使用して高周波
で切断している。
(目的) 本考案は前記超音波による不具合を除去し、その成形性
を向上することを目的とする。即ち、積層体を超音波溶
着する超音波ウェルグーと使用して切断工程までも行な
うことができるようにすることである。
(vt成) そのため、本発明は、溶着部と切断部とを有する超音波
ウェルグーを使用し、表皮、発泡体製ワディング、ワデ
ィングカバーからなる積層体を、同時若しくは時間をず
らして超音波を発振させて前記積層体を前記溶着部で一
体に溶着すると共に積層体の外周部を前記切断部でgJ
断じて成形するものであり、前記切断部は溶着部に対し
て、溶着性が良好になるように、切断部に対して溶着面
積を減少するが、或いは発振時間を長くするか、若しく
はホーンによる加圧力を増大するなど種々溶着加工条件
を異ならしめたものである。
従って、1台の超音波ウェルダーに以上の溶着部と切断
部とが存在するため、積層体を一体に超音波により溶着
すると共に所定の形状に切断部で切断成形され、その切
断部は積層体を過度に溶着することにより切断するので
、その積層体の切断個所はワディングが圧tftされて
溶着し、このワディングの端末は表皮と7デイングカバ
ーによりて被包された状態を呈する。
(実施例) 以下、本発明の一実施例を図面に基づいて説明する。
第1図は本発明に使用する超音波ウェルグーであり、溶
着ルの溶着部(a)と切断用の切Ili部(b)とが設
けてあり、この溶着部(a)及び切断部(b)はホーン
(10)、(20)、下型(11)、(21)などの一
連の超音波溶着機構から構成されている。
図示する溶着部(a)と切断部(b)は本発明の説明上
左右に一ケ設けであるが、実際には超音波ウェルグーの
機体に複数個の溶着部(a)と切断部(b)とが設けで
ある。そして、図示するものは同一の加圧条件、同一の
発振時間で、ホーン(10)、(20)が積層体(1)
を加圧して超音波を発振させる構造であるが、雨下型(
11)、(21)はその溶着面積が相異する。
これを、12図において説明する。
溶9II部(a)、切断部(b)の両ホーン(10)、
(20)は長さが25cm、幅8cm程度のバーホーン
型を使用し、溶着部(a)の下型(11)は切断部(b
)の下型(21)に対して、その溶着個所の面積が2倍
、即ち、同一の長さで幅を2倍(2mm)にしたもので
ある。
以上のホーン(10)、(20)、下型(11)、(2
1)から構成される溶着部(a)と切断部(b)とを使
用して積層体(1)を同一の超音波溶着条件で超音波溶
着して切断しトリムカンイーを成形する。
即ち、積層体(1)を形成する表皮(2)はポリエステ
ル系の識物地(ダブルラッセル)などの熱可塑性用脂材
であり、ワディング(3)はJIS硬度が5に、乃至2
0に、程度、比重0.25でその厚さが51乃至20m
a+程度の平板状のスラブ材、ワディングカバー(4)
は熱可塑性の不織布を使用し、表皮(2)を下型(11
)、(21)IIIIIにしてPt52図に示すように
積層する。そして、両ホーン(10)、(20)を同時
又は時間をずらして、下降させて積層体(1)を同一の
加圧力で加圧して超音波を発振させる。これを気体的に
説明すると、ジェネレーターの周波数20KHZ、振幅
76μ、冷却時間1.5乃至2.0秒、加圧力420 
Kg、発振時間1.3乃至1.8秒、ノエネレーター出
力負荷率70%乃至80%である。
以上の如く、溶着部(a)の下型(11)に対して、切
断部(b)の下型(21)の面積を狭くすることにより
、この切断部(b)に対応する部分の積層体(1)は1
53図、第4図に示すように、切断され、また溶着部(
、)に対応する部分の王者(2)、(3)、(4)は一
体に溶着される。第3図、第4図において、図中(5)
は超音波ウェルグーの溶着部(a)によって一体に溶着
した溶着個所、(6)は同切断部(b)によって切断さ
れた切断個所を夫々示し、その溶着個所はワディング(
3)が圧潰されて唇解し、表皮(2)と7デイングカパ
ー(4)とを溶着させて、表面に凹条の装飾用溝(イ)
を形成する。
また、切断個所(6)はワディング(3)が溶解し、そ
の溶解したワディング(3)を表皮(2)と7デイング
カバー(4)とで被包するように切断され、所定の形状
のトリムカバーが成形される。
なお、図示しないが、前記切断部(b)のホーン(20
)による加圧力を溶着n<a>のそれに対して大にし、
下型の溶着面積、発振時間を同一にする。或いは切断部
(b)の発振時間を溶着部(a)のそれに対して長くし
、同一ホーン、下型を使用するなど、溶着部(a)に対
して、切断部(b)を溶着し易く、且つ積層体(1)を
切断可能な条件にする。
(効果) 本発明によれば、1台の超音波ウェルグーで、表皮、ワ
ディング、ワディングカバーの王者からなる積層体を一
体に溶着すると共に所定形状に切断してトリムカバーを
成形するので、その成形性が従来方法に比べ向上する。
また、トリムカバーの切断面はワディングが溶着され、
そのワディングが表皮、ワディングカバーで被包するよ
うに形成されるので、切断個所が美麗で、その切断個所
の端末処理が軍票になる。

Claims (4)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. (1)表皮、発泡体製ワディング、ワディングカバーか
    らなる積層体を、溶着部と切断部とを有する超音波ウェ
    ルダーで同時若しくは時間をずらして超音波を発振させ
    て前記積層体を前記溶着部で一体に溶着すると共に積層
    体の外周部を前記切断部で切断して成形することを特徴
    とする自動車用座席のトリムカバー成形方法。
  2. (2)前記溶着部はその下型を切断部の下型に対して溶
    着面積を大にし、ホーンの加圧力、発振時間を同一にし
    てなる前記特許請求の範囲第1項記載の自動単用座席の
    トリムカバー成形方法。
  3. (3)前記切断部のホーンの加圧力を溶着部のそれに対
    して大にし、下型の溶着面積、発振時間を同一にしてな
    る前記特許請求の範囲第1項記載の自動車用座席のトリ
