Description
【発明の詳細な説明】
本発明は光検出器の表面に設けられた一つ又は
複数のフイルター構成材から成り、このフイルタ
ー構成材は色素で調色され硬化したエポキシ樹脂
材より形成され、かつ光検出器を包囲したフイル
ターに関する。

半導体検出器は一般に広い有感領域をもつが、
比較的狭いスペクトル領域のみを作動範囲とした
いこともしばしばある。この場合半導体検出器の
特定の作動範囲外の有感領域は、外光の入射によ
つて、望ましからざる妨害電流を生ずる原因とな
る。従つてこの妨害電流を減少させるために、半
導体検出器の特定の作動範囲を除く全有感領域に
亘つて電磁輻射に対し不透過な光学フイルターで
半導体検出器を被うことが望ましい。この種の措
置は、ガラスまたは合成材製板片又は箔の形の市
販の光学フイルターを装着することによつて行わ
れている。しかし光学的半導体構成素子を量産す
る場合には、このような既製のフイルター材の使
用に対しては、反対すべき重要な根拠がある。公
知のように光学フイルターは高価である。従つ
て、フイルター組込みのための価格によつて最終
製品は更に高価となる。従つて、経済的理由か
ら、市販の既製フイルターを用いて光検出器のフ
イルター掛けを行うことは望ましくない。

よつて光検出器の量産時の原価および工数を決定
的に減少させるとともに、短波長領域における透

この目的は本発明によれば、フイルター構成材
中の色素がポリクロロ−銅フタロシアニンをベー
スとする緑色顔料色素、黄色アゾ顔料色素および
黒色ジアゾ染料色素から成り、各色素の総合した
量の混合重量比が1:0.1:0.5であり、発光ダイ
オードの放射光に対しては透過性であり、この放
射光以外のスペクトル範囲に対しては非透過性で
あることによつて構成される。

一般市販のフイルターは高価であるばかりでな
く、それを光検出器に組込む際にも極めて高い工
費を要する原因になる。光検出器の量産に際して

生ずる境界面における高い反射損失により技術的
品質が低下する。これに反し、本発明に従つてフ
イルターをつけた検出器は、境界面の付加がな
く、従つて反射損失の上昇もない。

色および黄色顔料色素混合物を一定の濃度範囲で
混合添加することにより、減少させることができ
る。黒色で調色した構成材の使用光線以外の妨害
光線透過領域は、緑色および黄色顔料色素から成
る混合物を添加することにより、波長領域約
820nmないし900nmに制限される。然し、この混
合色素はGaAs−ダイオードの発光領域において
も僅かながら吸収があり、従つて使用光線信号を
も一部弱めるから、エポキシ樹脂構成材中の緑色
および黄色顔料色素から成る混合物の濃度を任意
に高めることは無意味である。エポキシ樹脂材構
成材に対し、上記顔料色素混合物の外に黒色ジア
ゾ染料色素を添加することは、上記顔料色素で調
色したエポキシ樹脂構成材の短波長領域(図示せ
ず)における透過性を除去する限りにおいて特に
重要である。

常の方法で接触部が設けられる。次いで例えばエ
ポキシ樹脂材で流し込み又は押し出しが行われる
場合、その流し込み或は押し出し材には、光検出
器にフイルター機構を付与するために適当な濃度
の色素のみが添加され、その場合更に構成材のあ
る層厚は、半導体素子の感光面に亘つて厳守され
る。流し込み又は押し出し材の調色に用いられる
色素は、検出器に入射する使用光線の発光領域内
ではできるだけ吸収がなく、検出器の他の有感領
域においてはできるだけ強く吸収があるように選
定される。

使用光源として用いられるヒ化ガリウム発光ダ
イオードに対する検出器として用いるべきシリコ
ンフオトダイオードにフイルター機構を付与する
ためには、ポリクロロ−銅フタロシアニンをベー
スとする緑色顔料色素子、黄色アゾ顔料と、黒色
ジアゾ色素とからなる混合物で調色されたエポキ
シ樹脂より作られたフイルター構成材でシリコン
フオトダイオードを包囲することが推奨される。
上記の組合物のフイルター構成材の重量比は次式
で与えられる。

スとする緑色顔料色素子、黄色アゾ顔料と、黒色
ジアゾ色素とからなる混合物で調色されたエポキ
シ樹脂より作られたフイルター構成材でシリコン
フオトダイオードを包囲することが推奨される。
上記の組合物のフイルター構成材の重量比は次式
で与えられる。
エポキシ樹脂:緑色顔料色素:黄色顔料色素:
黒色顔料色素=125:1:0.1:0.5 半導体素子の感光面上のフイルター構成材の層
厚は約0.5mmである。
黒色顔料色素=125:1:0.1:0.5 半導体素子の感光面上のフイルター構成材の層
厚は約0.5mmである。
本発明によるフイルター構成材は、任意の光検
出器、特にシリコン若しくはゲルマニウム・フオ
トダイオード又は光抵抗体に対して使用すること
ができる。

本発明に使用される緑色顔料色素、黄色アゾ顔
料色素および黒色ジアゾ染料色素は半導体素子系
と親近性があり、例えば半導体素子の逆電流、動
作電流、スイツチング特性の変化を生じるような
ことがない。またこれらの色素は、例えばアルカ
リイオンのような有害なイオンを遊離することが
なく、また腐食作用を及ぼさず、エポキシ樹脂中
に溶け、化学的に安定である。さらに、これらの
色素は高温においても安定であり、通常高温で硬
化されるエポキシ樹脂に使用する上で有利であ
る。またこれらの色素は互いに親近性があり、凝
固せず、フイルター構成材中に均一に分散する。
料色素および黒色ジアゾ染料色素は半導体素子系
と親近性があり、例えば半導体素子の逆電流、動
作電流、スイツチング特性の変化を生じるような
ことがない。またこれらの色素は、例えばアルカ
リイオンのような有害なイオンを遊離することが
なく、また腐食作用を及ぼさず、エポキシ樹脂中
に溶け、化学的に安定である。さらに、これらの
色素は高温においても安定であり、通常高温で硬
化されるエポキシ樹脂に使用する上で有利であ
る。またこれらの色素は互いに親近性があり、凝
固せず、フイルター構成材中に均一に分散する。

Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1 光検出器の表面に直接設けられた一つ又は複
数のフイルター構成材から成り、このフイルター
構成材は色素で調色され硬化したエポキシ樹脂材
より形成され、かつ光検出器を包囲したフイルタ
ーにおいて、前記色素がポリクロロ−銅フタロシ
アニンをベースとする緑色顔料色素、黄色アゾ顔
料色素および黒色ジアゾ染料色素から成り、各色
素の総合した量の混合重量比が1:0.1:0.5であ
り、発光ダイオードの放射光に対しては透過性で
あり、この放射光以外のスペクトル範囲に対して
は非透過性であることを特徴とする光検出器用フ
イルター。 2 光検出器を包囲するフイルター構成材中の色
素の濃度および発光ダイオードの放射光に向けら
れている面の層厚とが互いに調整されていること
を特徴とする特許請求の範囲第1項記載のフイル
ター。 3 光検出器を包囲するフイルター構成材の放射
光に向けられる面の層厚が0.5mmであり、エポキ
シ樹脂材、緑色顔料色素、黄色顔料色素、黒色染
料色素の重量比が125:1:0.1:0.5であること
を特徴とする特許請求の範囲第1項または第2項
記載のフイルター。
