Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 〔発明の利用分野〕 本発明は、接合用の凹部穴内に接合用インサート材が挿
入され接合する構造を改良した樹脂材料の超音波溶着の
接合構造に関するものである。
〔発明の背景〕
この種超音波接合構造技術に関連し特開昭60−443
24号公報が提案されている。
従来、超音波溶着は突起部に圧力を加えた状態で超音波
の振動エネルギーを伝達させ溶着させていたが、凹部穴
内に接合用インサート部材を挿入し溶着の場合に溶着が
不完全になると云う問題があった。これは、側面の摩擦
によって振動エネルギーが吸収され突起部に伝達されな
いためであった。
〔発明の目的〕
本発明は上記の状況に鑑みなされたものであシ、凹部穴
底面と溶着用突起とが確実に溶着できる樹脂材料の超音
波溶着の接合構造を提供することを目的としたものであ
る。
〔発明の概要〕
本発明の樹脂材料の超音波溶着の接合構造は、樹脂系接
合部材に形成された接合用の凹部穴と、端面に溶着用突
起が突設され該凹部穴に挿入され該凹部穴底面に向けて
圧力及び超音波振動が加えられることにより該凹部穴底
面に上記溶着用突起が溶着される樹脂系インサート材と
からな)、上記樹脂系インサート材の側壁もしくは上記
凹部穴内壁に該樹脂系インサート材を該凹部穴に中心を
一致させて保持可能に突起が形成されているものである
本発明は、樹脂系インサート材の側壁と凹部穴の側壁と
の摩擦によって凹部穴深さ方向に加えられる圧力及び超
音波振動が吸収されるために、樹脂系インサート材の端
面の溶着用突起が凹部穴底面に充分溶着することができ
ないことに鑑み、樹脂系インサート材の側壁と凹部穴側
壁との接触面積を減少させるように突起を設けたもので
ある。
従って、溶着部分に圧力、超音波振動が十分に伝えられ
て確実な溶着が得られるようにしたものである。
〔発明の実施列〕
以下本発明の樹脂材料の超音波溶着の接合構造を実施例
を用い第1図ないし第4図により説明する。第1図は樹
脂系接合部材に樹脂系インサート材を挿入した状態の一
部を破面で示した凹部穴が矩形状の場合の斜視図、第2
図は第1図の各部材の組合せ説明図、第3図は第1図の
平面図、第4図は第3図のA−A矢視断面図である。図
において、1は溶着用突起で、樹脂系インサート材4の
端面に形成されている。5はハウジングの樹脂系接合部
材で接合用の凹部穴6が形成され凹部穴6には樹脂系イ
ンサート材4が挿入されるようになっている。樹脂系イ
ンサート材4の樹脂系接合部材5に形成された凹部穴6
の深さ方向には複数個の突条の突起2が形成されている
。3は貫通穴である。
そして、図示の状態で樹脂系インサート材4に凹部穴6
方向へ加圧するとともに超音波振動を加えると、樹脂系
インサート材4の凹部穴6内側壁に対する接解面は突起
2による接触であるため、樹脂系インサート材4に加え
られた圧力及び超音波振動はそのほとんどが、凹部穴6
の底面と溶着用突起1との溶着部分に加えられることに
なる。
このように本実施例の樹脂材料の超音波溶着の接合構造
においては、樹脂系接合部材の凹部穴に、側壁に突起を
形成した樹脂系インサート材が挿入され、従って、接触
面積が縮小された状態となっているため、樹脂系インサ
ート材に加えられる圧力、超音波振動が十分に凹部穴底
面及び溶接用突起の溶着部に伝達されるので、確実な溶
着が得られる。伺、突起2は第5図のように樹脂系イン
サート材4側に設けないで樹脂系接合部材5の凹部穴6
の内壁に設けても作用効果は全く同じである。
第6図ないし第9図及び第10図ないし第13図はそれ
ぞれ他の実施例を示す。第6図ないし第9図の実施例は
凹部穴6が正方形の場合で、樹脂系インサート材4の端
面にはリング状溶着用突起1が突設され、各側面に1個
ずつの突条の突起2が形成されている。また、第8図は
突起2が凹部穴6内に樹脂系接合部材5に突設されてお
り、第9図は凹部穴6の深さ方向に突条の突起2が樹脂
系インサート材4の各隅部に形成されており、各図の構
造においてもそれぞれ樹脂系インサート材4に圧力(こ
の圧力は突起2と凹部穴6内壁との摩擦係数が零の場合
くけ不要であるが、実際には零とはなり得ぬので圧力が
必要となる)及び超音波機動が加えられることにより確
実な溶着が得られる。
第10図ないし第13図は、凹部穴6が円形であシ、第
10図は突起2が樹脂系インサート材4に形成され、第
12図は凹部穴6内壁の樹脂系接合部材5に形成された
場合であり、第13図は円形の場合の七ンター合せがで
きる突起2が3条の場合であυ、樹脂系インサート材4
に圧力及び超音波振動が加えられた場合に上記実施例と
同様な作用効果が得られる。
〔発明の効果〕
以上記述した如く本発明の樹脂材料の超音波溶着の接合
構造によれば、凹部穴底面と溶着用突起とが確実に溶着
できる効果を有するものである。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 1、樹脂系接合部材に形成された接合用の凹部穴と、端
    面に溶着用突起が突設され該凹部穴に挿入され該凹部穴
    底面に向けて圧力及び超音波振動が加えられることによ
    り該凹部穴底面に上記溶着用突起が溶着される樹脂系イ
    ンサート材とからなるものにおいて、上記樹脂系インサ
    ート材の側壁もしくは上記凹部穴内壁に該樹脂系インサ
    ート材を該凹部穴に中心を一致させて保持可能に複数の
    突起が形成されていることを特徴とする樹脂材料の超音
    波溶着の接合構造。
