Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 （産業上の利用分野） 本発明は、自動車等の制動装置に用いられるドラムブレ
ーキ用シューに関するものである。
（従来の技術） 自動車等の制動装置に用いられるドラムブレーキ用シュ
ーとしては従来、第５図（δ）＋　（ｂｌに示す如きも
のが用いられていた。
このドラムブレーキ用シューは、円弧状に湾曲したリム
１の内周面中央部にウェブ２が固定されており、またリ
ム１の外周面にはう、イニング３が貼着されている。そ
して、このライニング３がブレーキドラム（図示せず）
の内周面に圧接されることにより、制動効果が得られる
というものである。
（発明が解決しようとする問題点） しかしながら、上記従来のドラムブレーキ用シューは、
その半径方向断面の形状が丁字形であることから捩りに
対する剛性が低く、従って捩り振動の固有モードを多数
有していた。このため、ブレーキドラムのシューとの摺
動部が有する振動の固有モードと一致し易く、ブレーキ
鳴きが発生し易いという問題点があった。
（問題点を解決するための手段） 本発明は上述の問題点を解決するためになされたもので
、前記形式のドラムブレーキ用シューにおいて、リムの
内側に、不均一に補強部材を設けたものである。
（作　用） 本発明ドラムブレーキ用シューは」二記のように構成し
たから、捩り強度が不均一に補強され、捩り振動の簡閲
ピッチが不規則となって、固有モードを持ちにくくなる
という作用を有している。
（実施例） 以下、本発明の実施例を図面に基づき詳細に説明する。
図中第５図におけると同様の部分を同一符号にて示す。
第１図は本発明の第１実施例を示すもので、図中４は、
大きさと厚さの均一な三角形状の補強板であるが、リム
１の内周面とウェブ２の側面との間に左右交互に配置す
ると共に、かつその配置間隔を不均等にしたものである
。
上記のように補強板４を設けることにより、この第１実
施例は、リム１の捩り強度を不均一に補強することがで
きる。
第２図は本発明の第２実施例を示すもので、この第２実
施例では、補強板４の大きさ、厚さ、形状をそれぞれに
異ならせ、また配置する間隔も不均等にしたものである
。
上記のようにすることで、この第２実施例では、第１実
施例と同様の作用に加えて、捩り強度をさらに増してい
る。
第３図は本発明の第３実施例を示すもので、この第３実
施例では、補強板４の大きさ、厚さ、形状をそれぞれに
異ならせ、また配置する間隔も不均等とし、さらにウェ
ブの両側において、最下部の一組を除き、不均衡に配置
しである。
上記のようにすることで、この第３実施例では、第１実
施例と同様の作用をさらに強めている。
以上の３種の実施例は、いずれもシュー全体としての曲
げ剛性は増加させていないため、ライニングのブレーキ
ドラムへの当り不良による制動能力の低下を招くことが
ないという利点を持っている。
第４図は本発明の第４実施例を示すもので、この第４実
施例では、補強板４に替えて、リム１の両側縁部にフラ
ンジ１ａを、その長さと間隔とをそれぞれに異ならせて
形成しである。
上記のようにすることで、この第４実施例では、第１実
施例と同様の作用を得ることができると共に、前記の３
種の実施例と比較して、製造が容易であるという利点を
持っている。
（発明の効果） かくして本発明ドラムブレーキ用シューは、捩り振動の
固有モードを持ちに＜＜シたから、ライニングをブレー
キドラム内周面に圧接させて制動効果を得る時に、ブレ
ーキ鳴きの発生をおさえることができるという長所を有
している。
