Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 （ａ）　　産業上の利用分野 本発明は、刈払機、除雪機等の携帯用作業機等に使用す
る携帯用エンジンに係るものである。
（ｂ）　　従来技術および解決しようとする問題点従来
、この種の携帯用エンジンにおいては、エンジンを覆っ
てケースが設けられているが、一般には、このケースは
エンジンの出力軸と直交する面で分割されてエンジンを
固着する本体ケースと、この本体ケースの両面に固着す
る２個の蓋ケースとよりなり、さらに、シリンダー、マ
フラー等を覆う別途のカバーを設けるものもあって部品
点数が多く構造複雑となり、加工１組み付けが厄介であ
った。
（ｅ）　　問題を解決するための手段および作用本発明
は、エンジンの外周を機うケースを、このエンジンの出
力軸の中心線を含む分割面において分割自在に形成した
もので、構造簡単で、加工、組み付けが容易となるもの
である。
（ｄ）　　実施例 以下、図面により本発明の１実施例について詳細な説明
を行なう。
図において、エンジン１に１端を連結された連結杆３の
他端は刈払装置５に連結されている。刈払装置５は、回
転刃７と回転刃７を軸支する軸受体９とよりなり軸受体
９は連結杆３を貫通する伝動軸１１の動力を回転刃７に
伝達するベベルギヤー（図示せず）を内蔵している。エ
ンジン１は外周をケース１３によって覆われている。ケ
ース１３は合成樹脂で形成され、エンジン１の出力軸（
図示せず）を含む垂直平面状の分割面１５において右ケ
ース１７と左ケース１９とに分割され、ねじ２１　、２
１　、・・・によって結合されている。ケース１３内の
上部には燃料タンク２３が装着されている。エンジン１
はつぎのように構成されている。
すなわち、クランクケース２５の下部にはシリンダー２
７．後部には気化器２９が設けられ、シリンダー２７の
後方にはマフラー３１が設けられている。クランクケー
ス２５の前部には、リコイルスタータ−３３，マグネッ
トホイル３５に固着するファン３７．遠心クラッチ３９
が順次設けられ、遠心クラッチ３９には接手４１を介し
て伝動軸１１が接続されている。ケース１３の前部には
前ハンドル４３．後部には後ノ＼ンドル４５が固着され
ている。
以上の実施例において、エンジン１の動力は伝動軸１１
を介して回転刃７に伝達する。作業者は前ハンドル４′
３．後・・ンドル４５を両手で把持し回転する回転刃７
によって地上の草等の刈り払らい作業を行なうものであ
る。エンジン１および燃料タンク２３等は右ケース１７
と左ケース１９との間に挾持されるので組み付けはきわ
めて容易となるものである。
（・）発明の効果 本発明は、請求の範囲に記載のとおりの構成であるから
ケースの部品点数が少なくなり、部品の加工が容易で、
組み付けが簡単となって製作費を低減することができる
ものである。
なお、本発明は前述の実施例に限定されるものではなく
、他の態様においても実施しうろものである。また、請
求の範囲に示す符号は本発明の技術的範囲を限定するも
のではない。

  1. エンジン１の外周を覆うケース１３を、前記エンジン１
    の出力軸の中心線を含む分割面１５において分割自在に
    形成したことを特徴とする携帯用エンジン。
