Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は医療または獣医前において気管支の内部検査を
行うのに使用される、気管支鏡のようなファイバースコ
ープに関する。
気管支鏡は、21!l常の習慣的なやり方で、腕軸を気
管支内に進める時に鏡軸の遠隔端を操作する機構はもと
より、映像および光誘導用光学繊維系を含む。鏡は層性
、吸引または生検のための1個以上の貫通腔をも含む。
従来技術の気管支鏡は直径が小さい、すなわち0.20
0〜0.250in(5,08〜6.35膓)の可撓軸
7有するが、気管支端近くの気管交情を気管支鏡医師が
探査したい時には明らかな限界2示す。
従って気管支の最も遠い範囲を検査するのに役立つ気管
支鏡を与えることが本発明の特徴である。
気管支鏡の空腔内に受承することができ、光誘導・画像
伝達用光学繊維束を含む、直径が0.066〜0.11
0 in (1,68〜2.89m )程度のカテーテ
ルスコープを与えることが本発明のいま一つの特徴であ
る。
気管支鏡の操作系の制御の下に気管支税遠隔端乞超えて
カテーテルスコープを前進させて、気管支鏡医師が直径
の小さい遠隔の気管交情を探査し得るように、気管支鏡
の軸内に移動自在に収容されるカテーテルスコープを与
えることが本発明のいま一つの特徴である。
本発明の幾つかの特徴を具えた気管支鏡は、軸の遠隔端
から手元端まで延在する或る長さの空腔乞有する気管支
鏡軸と、前記空腔内に受承され前記気管支鏡軸の遠隔端
2超えて前記空腔内を移動して気管交情の小直径の遠隔
分枝に侵入する工うに作動自在である、前記長さよりも
長い、小直径の軸を有するカテーテルスコープと、ケ含
むことができる。
添付図面を参照しつつ本発明の詳細な説明する。
気管支鏡11はハウジング12、接眼レンズ13お工び
個所16.17にてハウジング12から切断して示され
る可撓軸14を有する可m1il114の遠隔端18に
在米型の映像伝達光学繊維束19と光誘導束21とが示
される。
貫通空腔22が気管支鏡可撓軸14の遠隔端18乞超え
て突出るカテーテルスコープ軸23を受承している様子
が示される。
カテーテルスコープ軸23の直径が0.066〜0.1
10in(1,68〜2.80賜)程度であるのに対し
、軸14の11径は0.200〜0.250in(5,
08〜6.35M)程度である、第1図および第1A図
で明らかなように、カテーテルスコープ軸23は映像伝
達系24お工び光ガイド26χ含む。
軸23は隔置されたゴムまたは類似の0リング28−2
8”k有するピストン27の中に受承され、映像系は接
眼し/ズ29に経っている。
光ガイド26はリセプタクル31に導びかれそれに光源
(図示せず)が任意の適当なやり万で接続される。
ピストン27は管状ハウジング32の甲に受承され、ハ
ウジングは第2図の参照査号33に工り示されるように
気管支鏡ハウジング12に適当な簡易着脱継ぎ手で連結
される。銃剣型継ぎ手が適当である。
カテーテルスコープ軸23乞軸24の空腔22の中に送
り込むと、0リング28−28は管状ハウジング32の
内側に係合し、気管支鏡軸の遠隔端18に対して所要の
位置にカテーテルスコープ軸の遠隔端20を保持するの
に光分な摩擦力?与える。通常、2つの遠隔端18.2
0は最初は面一(つらいち)の位置にある。
ねじ付きキャップ34はピストン27ンハウジング32
の中に保持し、細長い切欠き36は、第3図に示すよう
に気管支鏡の遠隔端18乞超えてカテーテルスコープの
遠隔端20乞突出すために接眼レンズ29を押してピス
トン27を前進させる時に光源リセプタクル31が動け
るすき間乞提供する。
運用にあたって、気管支鏡医師は、2つの軸の遠隔端1
8.20乞面−にしたまま、軸14を従来のやり方で気
管支の中に挿入する。軸14の気管支内での進行は接眼
レンズ13により観察される。
軸14乞受入れるには細そ過ぎる気管交情に達した時、
気管支鏡医師は接眼レンズ29乞押して気管支鏡軸の遠
隔端18乞超えてカテーテルスコープ軸の遠隔端20乞
前進させ、カテーテルスコープの接眼レンズ29にエリ
細そい気管交情の内部を観察する。
カテーテルスコープの操作は気管支鏡操作系(図示せず
)により実施される。

Claims (10)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. (1)医療および獣医療において気管支の内部検査のた
    めの映像・光誘導光学繊維束を有する気管支鏡であつて
    、軸の遠隔端から手元端にまで延在する或る長さの空腔
    を有する気管支鏡軸と、前記空腔内に受承され前記気管
    支鏡軸の遠隔端を超えて前記空腔内を移動して気管支梢
    の小直径の遠隔分枝に侵入するように作動自在である、
    前記長さよりも長い、小直径の軸を有するカテーテルス
    コープと、を含む気管支鏡。
  2. (2)前記気管支鏡と前記カテーテルスコープは相互に
    着脱自在の結合を行う独立のハウジングを有している、
    特許請求の範囲第(1)項に記載の気管支鏡。
  3. (3)前記カテーテルスコープ、ハウジングが管状であ
    つて前記カテーテルスコープ軸に接続されたピストンを
    含み、該ピストンは前記気管支鏡軸に対して前記カテー
    テルスコープ軸を前進、後退させるように前記ハウジン
    グ内で移動自在である、特許請求の範囲第(2)項に記
    載の気管支鏡。
  4. (4)前記カテーテルスコープ軸が映像用および光誘導
    用光学繊維束を含み、前記カテーテルスコープ軸が0.
    066〜0.110in(1.68〜2.80mm)程
    度の直径を有している、特許請求の範囲第(1)項に記
    載の気管支鏡。
  5. (5)前記ピストンが前記管状ハウジングと該ピストン
    の間に摩擦を生ずるように少なくとも1個の弾性Oリン
    グを含んでいる、特許請求の範囲第(3)項に記載の気
    管支鏡。
  6. (6)前記カテーテルスコープ軸の一端が接眼レンズで
    終つている、特許請求の範囲第(3)項に記載の気管支
    鏡。
  7. (7)前記接眼レンズが前記ピストンに連結されて該ピ
    ストンを駆動するように移動自在である、特許請求の範
    囲第(6)項に記載の気管支鏡。
  8. (8)前記気管支鏡ハウジングが前記カテーテルスコー
    プに光を送るためのリセプタクルを含んでいる、特許請
    求の範囲第(2)項に記載の気管支鏡。
  9. (9)相対的回転運動を防ぐために前記カテーテルスコ
    ープを前記気管支鏡にキー止めする装置を有する、特許
    請のの範囲第(2)項に記載の気管支鏡。
  10. (10)前記キー止めする装置が前記気管支鏡の細長い
    切欠きと前記カテーテルスコープの光リセプタクルとを
    含む、特許請求の範囲第(9)項に記載の気管支鏡。
