Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 技術分野 本発明は半導体集積回路装置用検出パッドに関する。
従来技術 第１図（ａ）およびｔｂ）に従来の半導体集積回路装置
用信号検出パッドの平面図および断面図を示す。
半導体基板１の上の絶縁層２表面に信号検出用導電膜層
３が所定の電極パッド形成で形成されている。従来は信
号検出用導電膜層３が平らなため導電膜層に針を立てて
信号を拾うとき針が滑って信号線や半導体素子にＳをり
けてしまり九ｐ、針を立てる測定作業が困難であったｐ
１電極パッドの面積を大きくして針の接触を確実にする
ために大面積の電極パッドにともなう付加容量値が増え
て回路の動作速度を遅くする等の悪影響があるという欠
点があり九。
発明の目的 本発明の目的は従来の欠点を解消するために絶縁層の段
差を利用して測定針の滑りを防［し付−加−容量の減少
によるスピードの向上にＭ効な検出パッドを備え九半導
体集積回路装置を提供すＦ＜ある。
発明の需成 本発明は半導体基板上に形成され１部に段差を有する絶
縁層と、この絶縁層上に段差部を含んで被着され良導電
層とｔ−有する検出パッドを備え九半導体集積回路装置
を得る。
発明の笑施例 第２図１ａ）および（ｂ）に本発明の−！ｉ！施例によ
る神導体集積回路装置の信号検出パッドの平面図および
断面図を示す。半導体基板１１の上に絶縁層１２を十分
厚く形成し配線領威及び検出パッド音域の１部が検出パ
ッド領域部分で凸部になるようにエツチング除去して段
差を有し１段差領域上に信号検出用導電膜層１ａｔ−形
成する。
本発明によれば段差を有している部分に信号を拾う針を
立てるＣとによって容品に針が滑らずに他の信号線や半
導体素子を破壊することなくでき付加容量値の減少によ
シスピード向上に有効な半導体集積回路装置用信号検出
パッドが得られる。

図（ａ）および（ｂ）は本発明の実施例を示す平面図お

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 半導体基板上に形成され１部に段差ｔ−Ｖする絶縁層と
    、該絶縁層上に前記段差部を含んで被覆され良導電膜層
    とを含む電極パッドを有することを特徴とする半導体集
    積回路装置。
