Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は励振源からの音波或いは超音波の機械的振動を
、加工物に伝播するだめの共振体に関するものである。
従来の共振体/は第1,2図に示すように、長方形の形
状を鳴し、アルミニウム、チタニウム、鉄等で形成され
ており、励振面コの中央部を励振させると、反対側の作
業面3との寸法において縦波の半波長共振するようにな
っている。
そして、振動の節部グから作業面3に亘って断面積の減
少部りを設けて、作業面3に増大された変位振巾が得ら
れるようにしている。又、節部りの領域に亘ってボアン
ンカップリングを防止するように複数個のスリットZ、
乙、−一一を設けている。
しか[7なから、前記の共振体/においては、+11が
大きくなると、作業面3において不均一な振11]分布
をhつように力ることかある。即ち、第3図に示うよう
に、最大振巾/とじた場合、中央部は振巾/を示すが、
側方部に行くにしたがって振巾が減少する。
このことは、例えば、共振体を熱可塑性樹脂の接合に用
いた場合、共振体の中央部付近は溶着して所期の接合仕
様を満足させるか、側方部にツ・・いては浴着が不十分
で所期の接合仕様を満足できないという欠点があった。
半波長共振体の励振面と作業面との振巾拡大率(減少率
も含む)は、励振面より振動節部までの質量と、振動節
部より作業面までの質量の比に関係するものである。
それ故、本発明においては前記の関係に鑑み、質量を変
化させることにより作業面のほぼ均一なる振巾分布を得
ることができる共振体を提供するのが目的である。
本発明の構成を第7図及び揶左図に示す第1実施例に基
き詳細に説明すると、節部グから作業向3に亘る減少部
Sの両11111部7,7を、中央部に比し質量を減じ
るように肉薄に形成する。
他は全て従来と同様庁ので、同一符号を付し説明を省略
する。
第1実施例は前記のように構成[2だもので、電気信号
発生器(図示省略)よりの電気信号を図示されていない
電気音響変換器に印カロ(7、機械的倣動に変換し、′
−電気音響変換器り直接或いは半阪長共振する振動伝送
体(a常ブースタホーンと呼ばれる)を介して共振体/
の励振面コの中央部を励振せる。通常使用される筒波数
は5KH2〜乙θKH2であり、励振面スか励振される
と、増l]きれて作業面3を振動芒せる。
この振動により作業面3により各種の作業を行うか、こ
の作業面3の振動分布は、両側部7゜7を肉薄に形成し
て質量を減じているので、均一カ振巾を得ることかでき
る。
次に、第2実施例を第4図に基いて説明すると、減少部
Sの両仙1剖7,7に位置した作業面3に矩形状の中ぐ
り部ど、fを設げて質量を減じる。
この第2実が1例は、作業面3の外周のみに振動を与え
て溶着1°るよう力場合に好適である。
本発明は前記のような構成、作用を有するから、均一な
振巾分布を得ることかでき、高精度、1i−11仁頼朋
の機械振動加工を行うことかできる。
父、共振体自体の加工が容易であり、且つ軽り、にする
ことかでき、操作性が良好である。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 励振面より反対側の作業面の方向に、縦波の音波に対し
    7半波長共振するように定められた共振体において、節
    部から作業面に亘る減少部の両側部を、中央部に比し質
    量を減じるように形成したことを特徴とする共振体。
