Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 〔技術分野〕 本発明は、カラー・フィルターの製造方法に関する。
〔従来技術〕
従来、カラー・フィルターは、基板上にゼラチン膜を形
成し、該ゼラチン膜を例えば３原色の染料で部分的に染
色して形成するのが通例であったしかし、上記従来技術
によると、ゼラチン膜及び染料の吸水、酸化により色劣
化が発生するという欠点があった。
〔目　的〕
本発明は、かかる従来技術の欠点をなくし、色劣化の発
生しないカラー・フィルターの製造方法を提供すること
を目的とする。
〔概　要〕
上記目的を達成するための本発明の基本的な構成は、カ
ラー・フィルターの製造方法において、絶縁基板上には
工Ｔｏｔｗまたは酸化錫膜がら成る透明電極が図形状に
形成されて成り、該基板をア七トン等の有機溶液中に無
機化合物からなる顔料の粉末を混合した液中に入れ、対
向電極を設けて、基板に形成された電極の一部に電圧を
印加することにより、電気泳動法により顔料膜を部分的
に形成し、か６成する操作を繰り返し、３原色等のカラ
ー・フィルターを製造することを特徴とする。
〔実施例〕
以下、実施例により本発明を詳述する。
第１図は本発明によるカラー・フィルターの製造方法を
示す。すなわち、ビーカー等の容器１内には無機化合物
による顔料粉末を分散させたアセトン２を入れ、該液中
にガラス基板３の表面に工ＴＯ膜４をつけたパネルと、
対向電極５を浸漬し、極間Ｇこ電圧を印加することによ
り、パネル」二の電極配線上に顔料を析出するものであ
る。
第２図は、本発明によるカラー・フィルターの製造工程
を示す。すなわち、（α）ガラス基＆１１の表面には工
Ｔｏ透明電極１２をスパッタで形成後、ホト・エツチン
グ処理により内形状に形成し、（ｂ）各々の電極に電圧
を印加しながら前記第１図で示した電気泳動法により３
原色の顔料膜１６゜１４．１５を３回の処理により形成
したものである。
〔効　果〕
本発明の如く、無機化合物顔料によるカラー・フィルタ
ーは劣化が少ない事、及び、電気泳動法により無機化合
物からなる顔料膜を形成することにより均一で、低コス
トのカラー・フィルターの製作が可能となる効果がある
。

Claims (1)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 絶縁基板上には工Ｔｏ膜または酸化錫膜から成る透明電
    極が図形状に形成されて成り、該基板をア七トン等の有
    機溶液中に無機化合物からなる顔料の粉末を混合した液
    中に入れ、対向１４Ｌｉを設けて、基板に形成された電
    極の一部に電圧を印加することにより、′電気泳動法に
    より顔料膜を部分的に形成し、焼成する操作を繰り返し
    、５原色等のカラー・フィルターを製造する事を特徴と
    するカラー・フィルターの製造方法。
