Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 この発明は金属の無溶接管生産用高温用潤滑剤に関する
金属類の熱間加工時にせきぼく(グラファイト)と油の
混合物を使用することが知られている。
しかしながら、このような製品が使用された際、油の分
解が起こり、工具や加工物を構成する材料の性質に悪影
響を与える。
その上油分分解物が環境を汚染する。
金属の熱間加工に必要な液体融成物が存在するのを確実
にするために、アルカリ金属硫酸塩、ホウ酸塩、塩化カ
リウム、ナトリウムトリアセテート及びせきぼ(を更に
所望によって他の助剤を加えた微粉化混合物を水性分散
液の形で金属の非切削用(高温用潤滑剤)として使用す
ることが提案されていた(ドイツ特許明細書第2046
727号参照)。
又金属の熱間加工用にアルカリ金属及び所望により亜鉛
及び/又はアルミニウムのリン酸塩及びホウ酸の融成物
と更に他の成分を添加して高温用潤滑剤を作ることが知
られている(ドイツ特許明細書第2154232号参照
)。
更にせきばく又は二硫化タングステン及びフッ化ナトリ
ウムを主に含む固形潤滑剤が提案されているが、この潤
滑剤はペーストの形で用いることが好ましい(ドイツ特
許明細書第2028804号参照)。
しかしながら、塩融成物でも特にいわゆる連続圧延機に
おける無溶接管の製造の場合においては必ずしも満足す
るものではない。
高温加工の場合に非常に高温であると、潤滑剤フィルム
の負荷容量が充分な潤滑をしない程度にかような融成物
の粘度が低下する結果をまねくのである。
この発明の目的の一つは公知の高温用潤滑剤の欠点を除
くことにある。
この発明によれば、 固形成分が (a) 純度96%以上で、粒子径が300μm以下
のせきぼ((グラファイト)10〜90重量%、(b)
酢酸ビニル、酪酸ビニル、ラウリル酸ビニル、エチレン
、インブチレン又はブタジェンの重合体もしくは共重合
体2〜60重量%、 (c) 分散又は懸濁剤0.2〜8重量%、(d)
フィルム安定剤0〜40重量%かもなり、該固形成分
が水に5〜80重量%懸濁されてなる金属の無溶接管生
産用高温用潤滑剤が提供される。
なお、この発明により%の表示は、すべて重量による。
この発明における潤滑剤が900℃以上の温度で使用さ
れるときは成分(a)が35〜90%量、成分(d)が
2〜40量存在することが好ましい。
この発明による高温用潤滑剤はせきぼくを上記重合体又
は共重合体の分散剤の水性懸濁液に導入し、懸濁剤を得
ることによって製造できる。
その固形物としては上記に限定した範囲の成分を含むも
のである。
あるいはこの発明の高温用潤滑剤は上記に限定した範囲
の成分を乾燥状態で混合することによって作ることがで
きる。
この発明の高温用潤滑剤は通常固形物含有量5〜80%
の水性懸濁液の形で使用される。
この発明の潤滑剤におけるアルキレン系重合体又は共重
合体としては乳化重合によって作るのが好ましい。
アルキレン系重合体又は共重合体としては、ことに次の
ごときエチレン性不飽和結合を有する化合物の重合体又
は共重合体が使用できる。
すなわち、酢酸ビニル、酪酸ビニル、ラウリル酸ビニル
のようなビニルエステル類の重合体及び共重合体、アリ
ルエステル類の重合体及び共重合体、エチレンやブタジ
ェンのようなモノ又はジオレフィン類の重合体及び共重
合体、アクリル酸もしくはそのエステル類(共重合性化
合物とのエステル類を含む)の重合体及び共重合体、マ
レイン酸エステル類のような不飽和ジカルボン酸エステ
ルの重合体及び共重合体が使用できる。
最大の潤滑効果を得るのには乾燥フィルムが存在する必
要がある。
この発明の水性懸濁液は公知の方法で、例えば熱工具に
スプレーするかあるいは塗布することにより適用される
それによって存在する重合体又は共重合体が溶融し、非
常に粘稠なフィルムを形成する。
フィルムの厚みは0.05〜LOmmが好ましく更によ
り好ましく0.1〜0.2mmである。
このフィルムにおいてせきばく粒子がその構造に基づい
て全表面を均一にプレート様に取り囲む。
加工工程の最初に加工物がある程度重合体フィルムの上
に浮かぶ。
最初に重合体又は共重合体が残渣を残さずにきれいに燃
え尽くされる。
燃焼で摩擦面間の分離を助けるガス軸受は台を生ずる。
同時にせきぼくが耐荷分離及び潤滑層を生じ、このもの
は流体力学的に作用する融成物フィルムの局所の過負荷
及び破裂の場合に特に金属加工工程のピーク温度におい
て有効である。
この発明に用いられた添加物が燃焼するため、高温度で
せきぼくの燃焼を遅らせる一種の保護気層が工具と加工
物との間に形成されると考えられる。
この発明による高温用潤滑剤に入れるせきぼくとしては
、はとんどが300μmまでの粒子と少なくとも96%
の純度をもつものが好ましく、より好ましくは100μ
mまでの粒子と少な(とも99.5%の純度をもつもの
である。
この発明の潤滑剤中に用いる分散又は懸濁剤としては例
えばポリサッカライド、メチルセルロースのようなアル
キルセルロースあるいはアルギネートが挙げられる。
又懸濁剤に少量の湿潤剤を加えることが有利であろう。
その上潤滑剤には、少量の微生物学的助剤及び/又は酸
化防止剤を含ませることもできる。
フィルム安定剤を存在させる場合には、ケイ酸ナトリウ
ム、ホウ素酸化物、・リン酸塩あるいはケイ酸又はそれ
らの混合物であるのが望ましい。
この発明による高温用潤滑剤は、無溶接管の生産に用い
ることができ、例えば連続あるいはMPM圧延機におい
て使用されるマンドレルの潤滑に用いることができる。
次にこの発明を実施例によって説明するが、これによっ
て限定されるものではない。
実施例 1 12%のせきぼく、28%の酢酸ビニル−マレイン酸ジ
ブチル共重合体、0.5%のポリサツカライド、59%
の水よりなる最終濃度を得るのに充分な量で、酢酸ビニ
ル−マレイン酸ジブチル共重合体とポリサッカライドの
水性分散液にせきぼくを導入した。
この懸濁液は工具あるいは加工物にスプレー又は塗布で
きる。
水が蒸発した後、高温用潤滑剤のフィルムが処理表面上
に残る。
実施例 2 69.4%のせきぼく、29.7%のエチレン−酢酸ビ
ニル共重合体及び0.9%のポリサッカライドからなる
高温用潤滑剤の成分を乾燥状態で混合した。
使用直前に水で懸濁液を作り、それの固形物の量は懸濁
液の全重量の50%とした。
懸濁液としての高温用潤滑剤は実施例1に記載したよう
に工具や加工物に適用できる。
実施例 3 インブチレン重合体の水性分散液を梁すサッカライド、
コロイド状ケイ酸、38/40ボ一メ度の水性ケイ酸ナ
トリウム溶液及びせきぼくと混合して次の組成の懸濁液
を得た。
せきぼく20%、イソブチレン重合体5%、コロイド状
ケイ酸4%、ケイ酸ナトリウム溶液10%、ポリサッカ
ライド2%、水59 %。
この懸濁液は加工物又は加工すべき対象に対しても適用
できる。
フィルム安定剤混合物は通常使用される温度、例えばプ
ロファイルロールにおける900℃以上の温度で均一な
任意に作動する潤滑剤フィルムを与える。
実施例 4 31.1%の酢酸ビニル重合体と3.3%のポリサッカ
ライドを含有する水性懸濁液にせきぼく及び水を混合し
次の組成の懸濁液を得た。
せきばく 20 % 酢酸ビニル重合体 9.5% ポリサッカライド 1 % 水 69.5% この発明による潤滑剤混合物は縦目なし管の生産に使用
されるMPM圧延機のマンドレルにスプレーされる。
潤滑剤組成物はもどし中のマンドレル表面にスプレーし
て潤滑剤フィルムを与える。
熱いマンドレル表面に乾燥した撥水性フィルムが直ちに
形成される。
フィルムが塗布されて直ちにマンドレルを水浴中か水を
スプレーして冷却することができる。
マンドレルが圧延工程の当初に通るロールの急激な水冷
によりこの潤滑剤フィルムが損われるようなことはない
この発明の新規潤滑剤を使用することによる利点は、公
知の潤滑剤に比し、生理学的に無害な水に懸濁した製剤
を与え、きれいに燃えつくされるものである。
従って環境汚染となる油性の焔を出さない。
潤滑剤は残渣を残さず清浄なマンドレル表面を与える。
圧延機を通して管を引抜く仕事がかなり減少し、圧延装
置はより均一に作動し、マンドレルの損耗がかなり少く
なる。
管がマンドレルを均一に取り巻き、その結果管の品質を
改良し、従来より薄肉の管壁をもつ管を得ることが可能
である。

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 1 固形成分が (a) 純度96%以上で、粒子径が300μm以下
    のせきぼ((グラファイト)10〜90重量%、(b)
    酢酸ビニル、酪酸ビニル、ラウリル酸ビニル、エチ
    レン、インブチレン又はブタジェンの重合体もしくは共
    重合体2〜60重量%、 (c) 分散又は懸濁剤0.2〜8重量%、(d)
    フィルム安定剤0〜40重量%からなり、該固形成分
    が水に5〜80重量%懸濁されてなる金属の無溶接管生
    産用高温用潤滑剤。
