Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable the first-in-first-out of a circuit board to be performed by making a stocker box in a buffer stocker device movable together with stocker shelves, and controlling said movements by means of a logic. CONSTITUTION:A stocker box 3 placed in a buffer stocker device 2 is made automatically movable up and down, and many shelves 4 are provided in the box 3 and further the shelves 4 made vertically movable. Further, the boards are conveyed into the shelves 4 by making use of a means 5, while the boards are conveyed out from the shelves by making use of a means 6. Further, the full load of the boards on the shelves and stocker shelf positions, etc., are detected by making use of means 20, 21, while a board input/output into/from the device 2 is controlled by a logic, and board shelf positions in the device 2 are also controlled. Namely, the box 3 is made movable together with the shelves 4 in the device 2, and their movements are made controlable by the logic, enabling the first-in-first-out of a circuit board to be performed.

Dropping is not particularly a problem when the lot of circuit board types is large, such as in low-mix, high-volume production, but when the same product is continuously produced in small lots, such as in high-mix, low-volume production, In the case of buffer stocker equipment, the size of product lots is further subdivided by the buffer stocker equipment, and the equipment for the next process of the buffer stocker equipment must be frequently changed, and equipment product types change frequently. There was a problem in which the switching loss was extremely poor.

OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION Therefore, in view of the above-mentioned drawbacks, the present invention invents a buffer stocker device using a first-in, first-out method that does not change the order in which circuit board product lots flow. This is to prevent unnecessary equipment switching ports and slots from being created by segmenting the equipment.

Structure of the Invention The present invention provides an apparatus for stocking circuit boards, which includes a large number of shelves for stocking boards, a mechanism means for continuously moving and positioning each column up and down in the stocker, and a device for storing the entire stocker box in the stocker. Mechanism means for vertically moving and positioning; Mechanism means for inputting and conveying substrates to the stocker shelf; Mechanism means for output conveying substrates from the stocker; Mechanism means for detecting fullness of substrates, stocker shelf position, etc.; This is a first-in, first-out stocker device for circuit boards that controls board input/output and logic that controls the board shelf position within the stocker. When products are transferred in lots and equipment is automatically switched depending on the product, the lots are not unnecessarily segmented and switching losses are minimized.
This has an extremely large effect.
