Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 本案は発光ダイオード表示器に係り、特に光漏れをなく
した発光ダイオニド表示器に関するものである。
従来、反射枠を用いた発光ダイオード表示器においては
、第１図に示す様に、輝度むらをなくするために反射枠
１０６の表面に光拡散板１１０を敷き、そのままでは表
示ににじみができるため、表示の輪郭を明瞭にするため
に前記光拡散板１１０の上に所定の表示用透孔を有した
金属マスク板１０８を置いていた。
しかし、技術の向上に伴い、前記反射枠１０６のセグメ
ント１０７と隣接するセグメント１０７’、 １０７’
との隔壁１０６’、 １０６’がうすくなるにつれ光漏
れを生じ、例えば口字状の表示器において口を表示する
と、特にこの表示器を暗所で観察した場合、表示が口字
状に読め、極めて不都合であった。
これは第２図に示す様に前記光拡散板１１０に入射した
光Ａが、前記反射枠１０６の表面と前記金属マスク板１
０８の裏面との間で光の反射を繰り返し、前述の光漏れ
を生じていた。
本案は上記欠点に鑑みなされたものであり、以下本案を
詳細に説明する。
第３図は本案実施例を示す側面の一部の断面図であるが
１は基板で、その表面にはプリント配線２．２，３．３
が施されている。
４，４は発光ダイオードで、前記プリント配線２，２の
上に載置され、金属細線５，５等で他の前記プリント配
線３，３に配線されている。
６は樹脂成型品等の反射枠で、たとえば白色を呈してお
り、前記基板１上に配設されている。
この反射枠６には、たとえば選択することによってＯお
よび１乃至９の数字を表示しうる口字状をなしたセグメ
ント（表示窓）７，７が設けである。
８は金属マスク板で、前記反射枠６の表面に設置されて
おり、前述の反射枠の口字状をなした前記セグメント７
．７に対応する個所に口字状のセグメント（透孔）９，
９が設けである。
この金属マスク板８の隣接するセグメントの間隔ｄＭは
、前記反射枠６のそれｄＲと略同−か又は少し広＜（Ｌ
≧ｄＲしてある。
１０は光拡散板で、前記金属マスク板８の表面に敷設し
である。
１１は着色された樹脂成型品等の略透明な外被ケースで
、上記反射枠６と上記金属マスク板８と上記光拡散板１
０とを内包している。
本案は上述の様な構成となっているので、第４図に示す
様に発光ダイオード４，４から放射された光Ｂが前記金
属マスク板８と前記反射枠６の表面との間隙に進入する
量は、その間隙が狭いため極めて少量となり、またその
少量の進入光も、従来のような光伝達に寄与する光拡散
板が存在していないため、隣接セグメントには伝わらな
い。
一方、前記光拡散板１０における光の散乱による表示の
にしみは、同図の光線Ｂ′の様に反射をくり返す光が少
なく、また、前記金属マスク板８のセグメントの前記間
隔ｄＭがこの光拡散板１０の厚さに比べ充分に大きいた
め、目視上問題にならない程度となる。
上述の例において、前記外被ケース１１は前記基板１を
も内包してもよく、又セグメントも前述の口字状に限ら
れるものではない。
以上の様に本案は、発光ダイオードを載置した基板と、
該基板上に配設されセグメント（表示窓）を有する反射
枠と、該反射枠の表面に設置され、前記反射枠の隣接す
る前記セグメントの間隔と略同−か又は該間隔より広い
セグメント（透孔）間隔を有する金属マスク板と、該金
属マスト板の表面に敷設された光拡散板と、少なくとも
前記反射枠と前記金属マスク板と前記光拡散板とを内包
する外被ケースとからなる発光ダイオード表示器である
から、容易に光漏れのない発光ダイオード表示器を提供
できる。

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 発光ダイオードを載置した基板と、該基板上に配設され
    セグメント（表示窓）を有する反射枠と、該反射板枠の
    表面に設置され、前記反射枠の隣接する前記セグメント
    の間隔と略同−か又は該間隔より広いセグメント（透孔
    ）間隔を有する金属マスク板と、該金属マスク板の表面
    に敷設された光拡散板と、少なくとも前記反射枠と前記
    金属マスク板と前記光拡散板とを内包する外被ケースと
    からなる発光ダイオード表示器。
