Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は文字ドツトパターンの表示装置に関し、特にド
ツトパターンの重ね表示を簡易な構成で行なうことを特
徴とする。
従来のタイプライタ等において例えば￥を印字するのＫ
ｆｎキーと目キーを操作して用紙上に重ね印字していた
。
近年、文字表示器付電子タイプライタが出現し、より一
層便利になったが、この文字表示器上で■を表示させる
には、■のパターン発生器を特別に設けるか、まえはＹ
と＝のパターン発生器からオアゲートな介して表示器に
印加する等の方法が考えられる。
然るに重ね文字の種類が多くなると上記いずれの方法も
大型、高価にならざるを得ない０本発明は上記欠点を解
決することを目的とするもので、本発明はこの目的を達
成するために通常の文字ドツトパターンを格納したＲＯ
Ｍと、重ねた文字ドツトパターンを格納できるＲＡＭを
各桁に設ける構成とした。
以下、図面に示す実施例に基づき本発明の詳細な説明す
る。
第１図は、本発明に係る表示装置の一実施例のシステム
構成図であり、１はシステム全体の制御を監？Ｎ　する
マイクログ四セッサＭＰＵであり、９はこの表示装置へ
の文字入力手段である複数キーを〜　備えたキーボード
ＫＢであり、このＫＢ９からのキー人力信号社すべてキ
ーボードコントローラＫＢＣ８を介してデータバスＤＢ
４を通じてＭＰＵ１が受けとることができるように構成
されている。
５１〜５％＃本発明に係るランダムアクセスメモ９ＲＡ
Ｍｒｉ’ｌ、１１の詐桁ティスプレイ二二ツ）ＤＵに表
示させるべきドツトパターンを記憶スるものであり、表
示第１桁が５１、表示第２桁が５２〜表示第ル桁が５ｒ
Ｌにそれぞれ対応しており、ｎ桁表示の為の構成である
。またこのＲＡＭにはアドレスセレクタＳＥＬ　ｉ〜Ｓ
ＥＬ　ｎが入力されており、これらＳＥＬ　１〜５ＥＬ
ｓはアドレスデコーダＡＤ６に結合され、ＭＰＵがＲＡ
Ｍ　ｌ　〜ＲＡＭｎを自由に制御できるよう構成されて
いる。７はリードオンリメモリＲＯＭで、キーボードコ
ント四−ラＫＢＣからの入力信号を文字コードに変換す
る場合使用される。また文字フード毎の表示ドツトパタ
ーンが記憶されており、入力文字コードより表示用文字
の表示パターンを発生させるキャラクタジェネレータと
しても利用する。１０はディスプレイドライブユニット
ＤＤＵでアリ、ディスプレイユニツ）ＤＵｌｉを制御さ
せるものである。第２図を用いて具体的な動作について
説明する。今キーボー　）”　Ｋ　Ｂ　上のＹキーを押
下、続いてパックスペースキーＢＳ、最後にイコールキ
ー＝を押下し、￥マークを例えば６桁目ＤＵ３に表示す
る場合、Ｙ！−ノ押下によりキーボードコントローラＫ
ＢＣはＫＢ上のマトリクス情報を読み取り、データバス
Ｉ）Ｂ上に発生させるとともにマイクロプロセッサＭＰ
Ｕに割り込み２をかける。ＭＰＵはデータバスを通じて
キーＹの入力をｔｊＪＲＩ、、ＲＯＭ７に対応するアド
レスよりＹの内部コードを抽出し、表示の為にＤＤＵに
対し、Ｙの内部フードとカーソル付であることをコマン
ドとして書き込む。ＤＤＵはドツトパターン表、８器第
１桁目にカーソル付の文字Ｙを第２図Ａの様に表示する
。第２図Ｂは、ＢＳ（バックスペース）キーの押下によ
りカーソルを前桁に移動し重ねる文字の前に移動した時
点での表示器のようすである。次のキー押下がイコール
キー＝とすれば、第２図Ｇのような表示となり■マーク
が表示されるものである。前述のようにそれぞれＹおよ
び二の表示パターンはＲＯＭ７にてそれぞれ個別に記憶
されている。なお第２図表示器の場合、各１文字は６０
ビツト構成で成る。　　□ここでＭＰＵ１は表示器３桁
目にＹと＝の重ね表示であることを認識し、ＲＯＭ７よ
りＹパターン情報を取り出しＲＡＭ３に書き込む。次い
でＲＯＭ７より＝パターンを取し出し同様にＲＡＭ３に
書き込む。
ＲＡＭ３その他ＲＡＭ１〜ＲＡＭ亀は第２図表示器例の
場合６０ビツト構成で成る。
ＲＡＭ３にＹパターンと＝パターンが重ねて書き込まれ
ることにより■パターンの文字発生器が一時的に作製さ
れたことになり第２図Ｏのように表示される。
本発明は上述の、ように重ね文字表示の必要が発生する
毎ＫＲＡＭ’にドツトパターン情報を形成させるようＫ
したので−極めて小型、安価に構成でき好ましい。
