Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a uniform toner image by eliminating a ground fogging phenomenon at a non-image part by providing a restricting magnet in a sleeve opposite a magnetic blade and by providing a magnetic-flux absorber close to the restricting magnet. CONSTITUTION:In a sleeve 2, a magnetism cutting magnetic pole 3a is provided opposite a magnetic blade 4 which is a restricting means for the thickness of a developer, and a ferromagnetic member 8 made of rubber, etc., containing mixed iron, nickel, etc., is provided near it. Since a magnetic pole with the opposite magnetism is induced by magnetic induction to a part closer to the cutting pole 3a, magnetic flux leaking from the cutting pole 3a to a place right before the blade 4 and magnetic flux leaking toward a carriage pole 3b are damped suddenly through the magnetic attraction of the magnetic block 8 to obtain magnetic flux G2', and the magnetic flux of the cutting pole 3a converges sufficiently to the part of the magnetic blade 4 to obtain magnetic flux G1, thereby maintaining a stable coating.
