Abstract
PURPOSE: To maintain a burning temperature at a value over a gas ignition point even at the lowest load and to enable even fuel gas of low calory to be burnt stably by a method werein a device which detects burning temperature, gas flow and controls an air quantity proportional to a load is provided on a combustor for a gas turbine.
CONSTITUTION: Burning air is divided at inlet E' into the air passing through a burning zone 16 and that passing through the outside part 18. The air flow passing through the burning zone 16 is controlled by adjusting the opening of an air flow regulating value 19 so that the ratio by weight of fuel gas to air can take a fixed value. The residual air passes through the outside part 18. By the control of the regulating value 19, the flow of the fuel gas is detected with FIC and the burning temperature is detected with TICA for the back-up, the air flow through the outside part 18 is controlled, as a result, the air flow of the burning zone 16 is controlled. The burning gas is mixed sufficiently with air, part of gas is burnt by a catalyst 20 at the inlet of a combustion chamber 17 and the residue is burnt completely by vapor phase reaction in the combustion chamber 17.
