Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate a conversion of the conventional oil-gas mixed combustion burner into an burner by a method wherein an oil or gas burner of the conventional facility having an air fuel ratio adjusting process is changed such that the present fuel of a volume corresponding to a heating calory of a newly supplied fuel is extracted.
CONSTITUTION: Fuel oil return line 31 having a return oil flow adjusting valve 29 and a flow meter 30 is connected to the fuel oil ine 20 at downstream of the oil volume adjusting line 21 of the oil burner having a present air-fuel ratio adjusting process. Fuel gas line 28 having a flow meter 26 and the gas volume adjustor valve 27 is connected to the burner 24. Fuel oil having a volume corresponding to a heating calory of the fuel gas flowed in the flow meter 26 is removed from the fuel oil line 20 through the oil return volume adjustor valve 29 under a control of the ratio setter 32 in response to the signals from both flow meters 26 and 30. In case that the present facility has a gas burner, the same operation is performed. Therefore, it is possible to obtain the oil-gas fuel mixed combustion burner converted from the conventional oil or gas exclusive burner with a minimum improvement works.
