Abstract
PURPOSE: To invariably provide a stable flame regardless of the calorie change in of the fuel gas by properly selecting the outer diameter of the inner pipe, the inner diameter of the outer pipe, the inner diameter of the mixing chamber, and the mounting angle of the guide vanes to the axis.
CONSTITUTION: In a combustion apparatus which is so arranged that fuel gas fed from an inner pipe 1 and combustion air fed through a clearance 3 between the inner pipe 1 and an outer pipe 2 are mixed in a mixing chamber 4 and injected, selection is made on the outer diameter D2 of the inner pipe 1, the inner diameter D1 of the outer pipe 2, the inner diameter of the mixing chamber 4 and the mount angle of privided in the clearance between the inner and outer pipes 1 and 2 to the axis a-a in accordance with the formulas I and II. This method provides a combustion apparatus which ensures that the optimum flame can be invariably generated regardless of the type of fuel used. Accordingly, it is possible to check any variation in the flame of the combustion apparatus as originally expected even if a great change takes place in the balance of fuel gas supply, for example, in a heating furnace.
