Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable to perform an accurate measurement, to enable adaption of a gauge to a portable type, and to obtain a uniform product, by a method wherein a light receiver is initimately attached to a sample on an aperture.
CONSTITUTION: A light from a lamp 4 for concentration measurement purpose located on a table 1 passes through a color filter 12 via a condenser lens 5 and a heat ray absorbing filter 6, which are positioned in parallel, and advances straight in a perpendicular ldirection through a reflection mirror 18. A sample placed on an illumination plate 3 is irradiated with the light passing through an aperture 7 from a condenser lens 14. A light-receiving element 16, made of a semiconductor and being secured to a forward end of a light receiver 15 vertically slidably mounted at an under part of the end of an arm 2, is directly irradiated with a light transmitting through a sample, and the strength of the light is measured.
