Abstract

PURPOSE:To set the exposure intensity and exposure time securely at a time and enable easy and secure measurement of quantity of transmission, by mounting light emitting device, photo detector, indicator, switch, etc. on holding mechanism so as to hold the sheet object being shielded from the external light. CONSTITUTION:One side ends of two holders 1, 2 are linked with a hinge 3 to compose a holding mechanism, in which is set a sheet object to be measured. When both holders are closed with fingers, the part being measured may be shielded from the external light. An electronic circuit consists of a light emitting device 5, a photo detector 6, an indicator 7, a power source 9, a switch 10, and so forth. The light emitting device 5 and the switch 10 are mounted on the holder 1, while the photo detector 6 and the indicator 7 are mounted on the holder 2. The light emitting device 5 and the photo detector 6 are opposedly provided. When the holders 1, 2 are closed, the switch 10 is turned on at the same time, so that the light from the light emitting device 5 transmits through the object being measured, and the transmitted light is detected by the photo detector 6. This quantity of transmitted light is displayed in the indicator 7. Thus, the quantity of transmission may be measured easily and securely.
