Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate calibration of indicating scales in an automatic multi- specimen analyzing device by permitting placement of 100% and zero scale calibrating vessels in absorbancy detectors for calibrating indicating scales. CONSTITUTION:An indicating scale calibrating sheet 2A consists of a transparent member and is formed with plural pieces of recesses 1 in a conveying direction. An interference filter 21 permitting the transmission of only the contrast wavelength out of the two wavelengths determined by inspection items is put in one of the recesses 1 and pure water 24 is put in the other one. Such sheet 2A is placed on a measuring line. To calibrate a detector 6A, the sheet 2A is first moved in an arrow (b) direction to place the pure water 24 on the optical path of the detector 6A of the measuring line 3A, thence zero adjustment is carried out so as to make a display device 30 zero. Next, it is moved in an arrow (d) direction to put the filter 21 in the optical path of the detector 6A and the display device 30 is so adjusted as to indicate 100%. Thereafter, the calibration of the detectors 6B, 6C, 6D is performed in the same manner, after which the sheet 2A is removed from the line and the analysis is started.
