Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a miniaturized analyzer capable of carrying out analyses on a plurality of items, by distributing a sample into a plurality of reaction vessels moving in succession, transferring the reaction vessels to a predetermined place where reagents are added thereto, and further transferring the reaction vessels to another predetermined place where the samples are subjected to examination of optical characteristics thereof.
CONSTITUTION: A sample is transferred by a pipette 2 from sample vessels 1 moving in succession to reaction vessels 7 moving in succession. A measuring item for each sample to be subjected to measurement is memorized in a control unit 21. Reagents are added to the sample dispensed to the reaction vessels 7 by injectors 15W20. A photometric system consisting of a multi-wavelength photometer 24 having a light source 23, a dispersing element 25, a detector 26 and an amplifier 27 is provided. A signal from the photometric system is applied to a functional conversion circuit 30 to be then subjected to necessary operation in a calculation circuit 31. The results of the operation are displayed on an indicator 32.
