Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the titled photoreceptor forming an always sharp image with high sensitivity, by forming a photosensitive layer obtain by combining a carriergenerating phase containing a specified pigment and a carrier transfer phase containing a hydrazone derivative on a conductive substrate. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive layer 4 is formed by combining on a conductive substrate 1 a 0.005-20mum thick carrier generating phase 2 consisting of an anthanthrone pigment represented by the formulaIin which X is halogen, nitro, cyano, or carboxy, and n is 0-4, a dibenzopyrenequinone pigment and/or a pyranthrone pigment represented by the formula II and III in which m is 0-6, and a binder resin; and a 2-100mum thick carrier transfer phase 3 consisting of a hydrazone derivative represented by the formula IV in which R1, R2 are optionally substituted alkyl, aralkyl, or aryl; A is an optionally substituted aromatic hydrocarbon group or a heterocyclic group; and n is 1 or 2; and a binder resin.
