Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a photoreceptor having high sensitivity and low fatigue, by adding a hydrazone compound represented by the general formula AR1CN2R2R3, A being heterocyclic, R1, R2, R3 being alkyl or aryl, to a charge transfer layer. CONSTITUTION:The charge transfer layer of an electrophotographic receptor formed by laminating a charge generating layer and this layer on a conductive substrate contains a hydrazone compound, such as the compound of the formula II, represented by the general formulaIin which A is an optionally substituted heterocyclic group, such as a pyrrole, pyrazole, pyrimidine, carbazole, furan, oxazole, thiophene, or thiazole ring, and R1, R2, R3 are each an optionally substituted alkyl or aryl group.
