Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the entitled photoreceptor superior in electrostatic charge acceptance, and charge retentivity in the dark, sensitivity, and durability, by adding a bisazo pigment to a charge generating layer and a pyrazoline derivative to a charge transfer layer. CONSTITUTION:An electrophotographic receptor consisting of a charge generating layer and a charge transfer layer is formed on a conductive substrate. The charge generating layer contains >=1 kinds of bisazo pigments represented by the formulaeI, II, and III (Ar is represented by the formulae IV, V, and VI; R is H, 1-15 alkyl or its derivatives, 6-10C alkyl, or its derivatives, 7-15C aralkyl, or its derivatives, amino or its derivatives, nitro, halogen, hydroxy, alkoxy, or acyl; m is 0, 1, or 2, when m is 2, R may not same. The charge transfer layer contains a pyrazoline derivative represented by the formula VII, in which X is H, dimethylamino, or diethylamino; n is 0 or 1; Ar1 is represented by formulae VIII, IX, and X; and R and m are such as mentioned above. The entitled photoreceptor high in electrostatic charge acceptance and charge retentivity in the dark, and superior in sensitivity and durability is obtained.
