Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent appliances from being influenced by the heat of the supercharger of a multicylinder engine, by placing two compressors in the central part of the supercharger and two turbines in its right and left parts.
CONSTITUTION: A turbosupercharger S is placed in front of the body 1 of an engine E. Two compressors C1, C2 are provided in the central part of the supercharger S. Two turbines T1, T2 are provided in the right and left parts of the supercharger. Exhaust gas from the engine E flows into the turbines T1, T2 through exhaust passages 18u and flows out through a downstream exhaust passages 18 and a muffler M. Clean air from an air cleaner A is pressurized by the compressors C1, C2 and enters into a pre-chamber 11 and is supplied into the engine E through branched intake passages 12. According to this constitution, the heat load on the compressors C1, C2 and the turbines T1, T2 are reduced and appliances such as fuel units and electric units are prevented from being influenced by the heat of the supercharger S.
