Abstract

PURPOSE: To utilize intake manifolds as a vibration passage of gas column, by providing an intake manifold each cylinder group so that passage areas made up of each branched passage and assembly passage parts are formed to be equal to a passage area of each intake port.
CONSTITUTION: In an internal combustion engine body 1, cylinder 2aW2f are communicated with a turbine 3a of an exhaust turbo charger 3 through an exhaust manifold 4. Each of intake manifolds 5a, 5b is composed of branched passage parts connected to intake potes 7aW7f of each cylinder and assembly passage parts which have each branched passage part branched. The passage areas made up of each branched passage and the assembly passage parts are formed to be almost equal to the passage area of each intake port 7aW7f. Incidentally, it is possible that a partition wall 8 will be provided in an intake passage to elongate the length of a vibration passage of gas column.
