Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent surging action of a compressor, by communicating a resonance chamber to the air intake passage of an engine through a communicating pipe.
CONSTITUTION: An engine 3 is constituted to a V-shaped engine and provided with a supercharger 12, located in front of the engine, consisting of an exhaust gas turbine 9 in an exhaust passage 8 and a compressor 11 in an intake passage 10. In the intake passage 10 to prevent surging action of the compressor 11, a prechamber 13 and resonance chamber 14 are provided in a position of the downstream side of the compressor 11. Further the prechamber 13 is housed in a V-bank formed by the V-shape of the engine 3. Then the resonance chamber 14 is formed in the rear part in a head light case 7 and communicated to the downstream side of the intake passage 10 through a communicating pipe 14a.
