CONSTITUTION:Crystal grain primary growth suppressing elements, for example, S, Se, Te, As, Sb, Bi, B, etc. are contained in molten steel of 2-8% contents of Si, and the molten steel is continuously ejected from a nozzle onto a moving cooling surface, and is quickly cooled and solidified to a thin strip. If this thin strip is annealed by box annealing or the like at 1,050-1,300 deg.C as it is or after rolling, abnormal grain growth is induced in tertiary recrystallization and the nondirectional structure in the (100) plane is formed.
