Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent an improper disconnection of a bonding region due to a corrosion by covering the periphery except the bonding region with a protective film and extending part of the film to the lower part of a bonding wire. CONSTITUTION:A projection 5 of a protective film 2 is formed at one side, from which a wire 3 is led, of the four sides at the outer periphery of a bonding region 1, and a protective film is partly formed on the region 1. Since the part not exposed with aluminum is always formed in the region 1 at a bonding wire 4 in this manner, aluminum between the wire 3 and the wire 4 is protected, thereby improving its moisture resistance.
