Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate an air-cushion assembly so as to raise the heat efficiency of a free piston tupe compressor, by combining in series two sets of two piston type one- way flow two cycle engine.
CONSTITUTION: One way flow type two cycle diesel engine is constructed by two sets of two pistions comprising combustion cylinders 1, 2, each piston 3, 4 and pistons 5, 6. Numerals 9, 17, and 18 show respectively a fuel injecting apparatus, scavenging and exhaust port. Pistons 3, 6 together with compressing piston 8 constitute a kinetic body integrated into one unit by means of rod 14 and pistons 4, 5 together with compressing piston 7 constitute a kinetic body B integrated into one unit. When a combustion occurs in the combustion cylinder 2, kinematic body A and B are moved respectively to the right and left side, resulting in operation of two sets of double-action compressor. Simultaneously, a compression occurs in the combustion cylinder 1.
