Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an oscillation frequency stable to the change in ambient temperature, by common connection of a pair of transistors (TRs) to a pair of TRs functioning as a major part of a voltage controlled oscillator, and connecting a common emitter to a constant current source. CONSTITUTION:A pair of TRs 37, 38 are connected to the base of a pair of TRs 33, 34 constituting a voltage controlled oscillator in common, and the collector is connected to the emitter of TRs 31, 32 and the base of the TRs 34, 33, respectively. The TRs 37, 38 are in common emitter connection and connected to a constant current source consisting of a TR47 and a resistor 49, and the base of the TR47 is connected to a division circuit consisting of resistors 36, 45 and a diode 46 connected to a power supply terminal. The temperature characteristic of the oscillation frequency (f) of the circuit is determined with the temperature characteristics of forward voltages VD26, VD56 of diodes 26, 56, and since the ratio is not changed despite temperature change, the oscillation frequency (f) is not fluctuated.
