Abstract
PURPOSE:To achieve correct correspondence between the input and output current, by connecting the emitter of the first and second transistors in which the bases are mutually connected to the voltage supply source and connecting the collectors to the emitters of the fourth and third transistors. CONSTITUTION:The emitters of the transistors 1, 2 connecting the bases mutually are respectively connected to the voltage supply source Vcc, and the emitters of the transistors 4, 3 connected to the bases are respectively connected to the collectors. The bases and the collectors of the transistors 2, 4 are connected one another. The input current Iin is fed to the collector of the transistor 4 and the output current Iout is obtained from the collector of the transistor 3. With this constitution, the collector to emitter voltage of the transistor 1 is almost equal to the collector to emitter voltage of the transistor 2, allowing to make equal the collector currents ic1 and ic2 of the transistors 1, 2. Accordingly, the current amplification rate of each transistor is sufficiently greater and the base current is neglected, then ic1=ic4=Iin, ic2=ic3=Iout are obtained and Iin=Iout is made possible.
