Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an emitter follower circuit with a little variation against a change in temperature by using two circuits constituted by connecting the emitters of NPN transistor Tr and PNPTr together. CONSTITUTION:Input terminal P1 is connected to the base of NPNTrQ1, the emitter of TrQ1 is connected to the emitter of PNPTrQ3, and the base and collector of TrQ3 are connected in common to the earth via resistance R1. The base of TrQ3 is connected to the base of PBPTrQ2, the collector of TrQ2 is grounded, and its emitter is connected to the emitter of NPNTrQ4. The base and collector of TrQ4 are connected in common to power supply T via output terminal P2 and resistance R2 to an emitter follower circuit. In this circuit, selecting values of R1 and R2 to equalizing currents flowing Trs Q1 and Q3, and Q2 and Q4 holds input terminal P1 and output terminal P2 at an equal potential, making it possible to make an input-output temperature coefficient zero.
