Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform the sweep of a long period with a high precision, by charging a capacitor by the difference between two constant currents. CONSTITUTION:When a power source voltage B is divided by a comparatively high resistance R1 and diodes D1 and D2 and is applied to the base of a transistor (TR) Q2, the collector current of the TR Q2 is constant comparatively against the fluctuation of the power source voltage. TRs Q1, Q3, and Q6 constitute a current mirror circuit, and collector currents I2 and I3 of TRs Q3 and Q6 correspond to respective emitter areas. By a current mirror circuit of TRs Q4 and Q5, the collector current of the TR Q5 is equal to the collector current I2 of the TR Q3. A capacitor C is charged by a constant current I3-I2 to generate a sweep voltage in an output terminal. A TR Q7 is made conductive periodically to reset the circuit, thereby generating a saw-tooth wave voltage.
