Abstract

1346504 Simulating solar cells MESSERSCHMITT-BOLKOW-BLOHM GmbH 19 April 1971 [16 April 1970] 24265/71 Heading G4G A circuit for simulating a solar cell comprises a transistor T having an emitter resistor R 4 , a collector resistor R 2 and a resistor R 3 connected between the emitter and collector, the transistor and resistors being connected in an output line of a power supply delivering a voltage U o to give an output voltage U s corresponding to the output of a solar cell receiving radiation whose intensity is represented by a control potential E 1 applied through resistor R 1 to the base of the transistor. A modulation voltage E 2 can be applied to a second base resistor R 5 . The power supply preferably supplies rectified multi-phase alternating current smoothed by a non-capacitative circuit.
