PURPOSE:To make it possible to obtain a sawtooth wave and a pulse voltage synchronized with this wave with a simple constitution, by utilizing the negative resistance of a semiconductor to make oscillation possible only with a time constant circuit. CONSTITUTION:Resistor 6 and capacitor 7 are connected in series to DC power source 1 to constitute time constant citcuit P. Semiconductor element 9 which shows a negative resistance when a prescribed backward voltage is applied is connected for discharge in parallel to capacitor 7 backward. Resistor 10 is inserted between the collector of this semiconductor element 9 and the earth, and the sawtooth wave output voltage is taken out from terminal 11, and a pulse voltage synchronized with said sawtooth wave is taken out from terminal 12.
