Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain stable bias voltage by supplying a current to the second transistor connected commonly at the emitter of a transistor in response to the collector current of the transistor to which a reference input voltage is applied. CONSTITUTION:A reference input voltage Va is applied to the base of the first transistor Q1, the first and the second transistors Q1 and Q2 are commonly connected at the emitters, and connected to a current source I1. A resistor R1 is connected between the collector and the base of the second transistor Q2, and a resistor R2 is connected between the base and the emitter of the transistor, and an output bias voltage VA can be obtained from the collector of the transistor Q2. Transistors Q3, Q4 form a current mirror circuit, and since the current responsive to the collector current of the first transistor Q1 is supplied to the collector of the second transistor Q2, the transistors Q1, Q2 are not turned OFF even if there are irregularitin in the elements and the variations in the temperature.
