Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a high-efficiency amplifier circuit featuring the steady idle current and an improved distortion factor by applying the bias voltage to the output transistor and at the same time supplying a constant current to the saturation preventing diode. CONSTITUTION:Diode 14 and 15 are connected between the input of output transistor Tr10/12 and 11/13. At the same time, the bias voltage caused by diode 18 is applied directly between the base and the emitter of Tr10 and 11 to compensate the temperature of them. As diode 14 and 15 are not inserted into the input of Tr10 and 11, the idle current of Tr10 and 11 is not affected at all by the temperature characteristics of diode 14 and 15. Furthermore, the DC current large enough compared with the signal current is supplied to diode 14 and 15 via driving circuit 2, and thus the operation resistance does not change substantially. Accordingly, the transmission characteristics is not fluctuated with supply of the input signal to Tr10 and 11, with no distortion caused.
