Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the increase in the collector loss of a controlling transistor (TR), when an input voltage is higher, by changing an output voltage in addition to a collector input voltage of the current controlling TR to a reference voltage after voltage division at a resistor. CONSTITUTION:The collector of a current controlling TR is taken as an input terminal, and the emitter is as an output terminal, the emitter output is divided with voltage dividing resistors R2-R4 and a Zener diode CD1 to obtain an output detection voltage and a reference voltage. Both the voltages are compared at an error amplifier A1 to detect the error, and this is applied to the base of the TR to control the output. In such a DC power supply circuit, a collector input voltage Vin+DELTAVin is divided with resistors R5, R6 and the result is applied to the voltage of the Zener diode CD1 as a reference voltage Vs, allowing to change an output voltage Vout+DELTAVout according to the change in DELTAVin of the input voltage.
