Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain many high-quality copies without corona discharge, by bringing a transparent insulating film provided with a transparent conductive film into contact with the surface of a photoreceptor of a prescribed constitution to form a latent image and copy the image. CONSTITUTION:A transparent insulating film 13 provided with a transparent conductive film 14 is brought into contact with the surface of a photoconductor layer 11 constituting a photoreceptor which has a transparent insulating film 12 on the surface and a conductive base material 10 on the reverse face, and a voltage is applied across the base material 10 and the film 14 to expose an image to the light following exposure of all the surface. Then, a latent image is formed on the photoreceptor without charging due to corona charge, and the film 13 is exfoliated, and thus, the image irregularity due to uneven discharging is prevented by the developing processing, where the latent image is developed through the film 12 by a charged toner 18, because corona discharge is not used, and high-quality copies are obtained without forming the latent image each time.
