Abstract
PURPOSE:To enhance the condensing efficiency of the vapor of cooling medium by forced circulation of the cooling medium enclosed in the system and of insulating fluid inside a condencer which is provided on one side of a tank containing a transformer to which openings are provided from the condenser. CONSTITUTION:Inside a hermetically sealed tnk 1, a receiver 6 for the cooling medium 5 is provided at the bottom and a diffuser 8 is at top, with which the liquid cooling medium 13 is sprayed through piping 10, 11 and a pump 7. In the tank 1 so constructed, provided is a transformer consisting of an iron core 3 and a coil 2 which is immersed in insulating fluid 4. An upper and a lower openings are provided on the side of the tank 1 for access to the condenser 21 on which a conservator tank 12 for insulating fluid 4 is provided at top. A circulator 22 is located inside the condenser 21 for forced circulation of vapor of the cooling medium 5 only within the condencer, and shieldings 23 are provided at the access openings to the tank 1 and to the conservator tank 12 respectively so that condensation of the vapor of the cooling medium 5 can be made only within the condenser 21.
