Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the system constitution, by connecting the receiver to the 1st outpt terminal of optical branch coupler connected to optical fiber and the transmitter to the 2nd output terminal, and providing optical reflector at both the ends of optical fiber. CONSTITUTION:A signal from an electro-optical converter 18 is transmitted to an optical fiber 31 via an optical branch coupler 15 throgh an optical fiber 27. Next, the signal is reflected on an optical reflector 12, and fed to an optical reflector 11 at opposite side through optical fibers 31, 30, 29, 28 and photo branch couplers 15, 14, 13, enters the optical branch coupler 13 after reflection, is received at a receiver 19 and transmitted to the optical fiber 29. Electro-optical converters 16, 17, 18 are transmitters and receivers 19, 20, 21 are constituted with photoelectric converters. The signal from the station itself can be received with other stations at the same time.
