Abstract
PURPOSE:To constitute the transmission unit enabling the analog multiplex transmission or the analog digital multiplex transmission, by connecting the optical transmitter and receiver different in the wave length with the photo brancher and coupler. CONSTITUTION:At the transmission side, the output of a plurality of optical signal transmitters 23, 24 using light emitting elements emitting different wave lengths is fed to the photo mixer 25, which transmits the mixed output to the reception side via one optical fiber transmission line 26. Further, at the reception side, each photo signal incoming is received at the distributor 27 to distribute each photo signal. The distributed output is fed to a plurality of photo signal receivers 28, 19 constituted with each wave length sensing element to output reception signal to the output of the receivers 28 and 29.
