Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase the communication capacity for the close-distance optical fiber communication by installing the photo coupler between the optical transmitter and receiver at several spots. CONSTITUTION:Optical fiber series 10, 11 and 12 transmit the optical signals with virtually no breaking and in sequence through spots 1, 2 and 3 possessing optical transmitters 4, 6 and 8 plus optical receivers 5, 7 and 9 each. Then photo couplers 13, 16 and 19 are used at spot 1 where the optical signals are supplied to the optical fibers from the optical transmitters; and photo couplers 14, 17 and 20 plus 15, 18 and 21 are used at sopts 2 and 3 respectively where the optical signals are extracted from the optical fibers and then supplied to the optical receivers. As a result, the communication capacity can be increased for the close-distance optical fiber communication.
