Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the static charge of the semiconductor device by providing a conductive coating facing toward a semiconductor element on the surface of an insulating plate facing toward the semiconductor element in space. CONSTITUTION:The semiconductor element 5 forming a solid-state image pickup device or the like is contained in a package 1 made of ceramic or the like and the package 1 is airtightly sealed by a transparent glass plate 8. There is provided inside the glass plate 8 the transparent conductive film 9 formed of metallic oxide such as In2O3 or SnO2 or Au, Al or the like. Thus, it can prevent the glass plate 8 from being statically charged due to friction or the like and eliminate an improper operation due to static charge.
