Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a treating unit for water with ozone which keeps the yield and the absorption efficiency of O3 optimum, by constituting the unit in such a way that the O3 concn. of supplied gas is kept constant, and the O3 content of waste O3 gas discharged from the reaction tank is measured so as to normalizing the charging qnantity of O3.
CONSTITUTION: Air or O2 supplied from a blower 1 is dried 2 and sent through a control valve 12 to an ozonizer 3, where O3 is generated. The O3 gas is led to a reaction tank 4, where it is brought into gas-liq. contact with the soln. 10 to be treated, then it is released from the top of the tank 4 as waste O3 gas. The concn. of the waste O3 gas is detected by a concn. meter 5 of a supply control unit 17, compared by a controller 6 with predetermined reference value to find the deviation, and the discharge current of the ozonizer 3 is controlled through a boosting transformer 9 by the operation of a voltage regulator 8 in accordance with the deviation. On the other hand, the concn. of O3 supplied from the ozonizer 3 is detected by a concn. meter 13 of a concn. control unit 16, and is compared with the predetermined value by a controller 14 to find the deviation, then air flow to be supplied is controlled by the operation of control unit 15 for the number of revolution of the blower 1 in accordance with the deivation, hereby the O3 concn. is controlled to a constant.
