Abstract

PURPOSE: To always ensure a predetermined ozone yield in a silent discharge system ozone generating apparatus by monitoring the dehumidification state of feed gas with a dew point detector and by controlling discharge power and the flow rate of the gas according to a dew point change.
CONSTITUTION: Feed gas is fed to gas dryer 1 with blower 9, and after detecting the dehumidification state with dew point detector 10 the dehumidified gas is fed to ozonizer 3. The dew point detected with detector 10 is converted into an electrical signal with conversion circuit 11 and introduced into operation controller 13 through signal line 12. Controller 13 is connected to power supply source 2, blower 9, etc. with signal lines 14 to control the frequency, discharge power, etc. of source 2 according to a dew point change, thereby maintaining the ozone yield constant. The no. of rotations of blower 9 is also controlled with controller 13 to reduce the flow rate of the feed gas.
