Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the work, by making wiring patterns common to cells and by appropriately cutting off the patterns to provide required wiring patterns. CONSTITUTION:Same wiring ptterns L are made by using a basic wiring pattern mask which has a wiring pattern common to cells CE1, CE2,.... Masks which have wiring cutting-off slit patterns are used to appropriately cut off the wiring patterns L at sections CT1, CT2,... to provide the cells with individual wirings. According to this method, it is not necessary to manufacture different wiring pattern masks for various wirings although required kinds of slit pattern masks must be manufactured and two times of pattern printing are needed.
