Abstract

When furnace temperature reaches a given temperature, waste product and coke are supplied through the hopper 2 in a proper quantity, the coke high-temperature hearth 14 is formed successively, and a proper size of waste product is kept present successively on the high-temperature hearth 14. A fine waste product separated on a separator 13 is supplied into the high-temperature hearth 14 in a proper quantity through the air inlet passages 9a, 9b on the gas containing combustion oxygen.
