Abstract

PURPOSE:To accomplish stable control of the operation of an evaporator in its low-load operational range, by changing a setting value of a system for controlling the level of an evaporating drum automatically according to the amount of gas discharged from the drum. CONSTITUTION:When an evaporator is operated under a constant load within the range of 10-50T/H, output of a function operator 22 is set at 0mm. and the steam level is also kept stable at a value near 0mm.. In this state, if the load is increased, output of a regulator 10 is raised and that of a flow regulator 13 is also raised, so that the opening of a control valve 14 is increased. Therefore, lowering of the level in an evaporating drum 1 can be prevented. On the other hand, if the load is decreased, the opening of the control valve 14 is reduced, so that raising of the level in the drum 1 can be prevented. Therefore, the setting value of the level in the evaporating drum 1 is changed with the load level, so that it is enabled to accomplish stable control on the operation of the evaporator in its low-load operational range.
